Relic is here!

So I'm sitting at my desk in work, coding my little heart away. Suddenly a tap on my shoulder, then I see a colleague holding a big cardboard package with my name on it.

Excitement is an understatement.

Obviously being at work I'm not able to have a proper look at it, but first impressions are very good.

Great looking, chunky plastic, playing pieces. A beautifully produced board. Plus the usual good quality cards which we all expect from Fantasy Flight.

As I have already read though the rules from their online PDF I skip the rule book and head straight to some of the 'threat' cards to see what lies ahead. Being a veteran 40k player I love the chosen enemies and of course the artwork is top class. Reading bits from the flavour text on the cards was also impressive.

I'm planning to give the game it's maiden play on Saturday so will let you all know how it turns out and what to expect.

Kudos to The Geekest Link who supplied our copy on the US release date of the 21st. They are the only UK supplier who I found who currently have it anytime soon. At the time of writing they have 5 left in stock so buy fast!!!!
